Your first session is about understanding your current situation in a warm and confidential space. From there, we’ll work together to shape the focus for your counselling journey.

There’s no need to bring anything formal to your first session — just yourself. Some clients find it helpful to jot down a few thoughts about what’s been troubling them or what they’d like to change. Others simply arrive ready to talk. However you choose to prepare, this time is yours, and there is no “right” or “wrong” way to begin.

Kati works with a wide range of clients, including young adults (14+) and adults of all ages. Sessions run for 60 minutes, typically held weekly, giving you the time and continuity to explore what matters most at a pace that feels right for you.
